About:

Bangkok Bunny Boys is an installation project for Bangkok Design Week 2023 based on the merging of the three concepts from the PhD students in Design Arts, Silpakorn University, which involve gender diversity, superstitious beliefs, and reflections. The photographic and visuals show a combination of masculinity, femininity and gender expression fluidity. While the output aim to modernize the material from the traditional “Fortune Sticks” to a new material that plays with light and space.

The project was exhibited onsite at Luen Rit Community and it was observed that approximately 200 people came to see the exhibition in person. The online data from website tracking also indicates that the project was well-received, with 152 people sharing the work on social media. This shows that the project generated a lot of interest and engagement from the audience, both on-site and online. The high number of people who came to see the exhibition and the number of social media shares are indicators of the success of the Bunny Boys Project and the impact it had on the audience.
